A Place for Children Like Ours
MYHOME, LLC was founded and created by Daget Tegegne and Seble Kidanewold to serve Children with Complex Needs in the Charlotte, NC area in 2023. MYHOME began from a humble dream to serve children with complex developomental disabillities and co-morbidities. As parents of a child with complex special needs, Daget and Seble experienced the difficulties of finding community and residential treatment for this population first hand. They were inspired to open a 3-bed 5600b Group Home for Children with Complex needs and Licensed Children Best Care Facility through NC Division of Health Service Regulation. Since 2023, MYHOME has helped children with no where else to go find meaning and inclusion in their local community. In 2025, exciting changes are happening to MYHOME...

MYHOME Founders Welcome New Partnership!
Daget and Seble founded MYHOME and on that journey, they were linked with Luis Hernandez, a successful Behavioral Health agency owner in NC! Daget and Seble are still an integral part of the MYHOME vision, but are excited to welcome experienced leadership into the business to expand its scope and mission! As the business rebrands, updates will be made on our website!

Our Services
MYHOME provides Behavioral Health services to Children with Complex needs who received NC Medicaid Innovations Waiver, 1915i, and state funded home and community based services.
Residential Supports-licensed group home for minors
MYHOME is licensed through NC DHSR to provide children's group home services for IDD children.
24 hour wake staff, 1:1 enhanced care if needed, personal care support, structured and meaningful activities, social supports, school supports, weekly activities and integration, emotional and behavioral support, and medication/health management.
Community Services
Home/Community Integration Services
Coming Soon! MYHOME will expand its supports to home and community based services for children living in their parents' homes or natural settings, as well as community integration programs like Community Networking and Supported Employment!

What Makes Us Different
We are trying to change the system of care for children with complex needs in NC. Our complex children often slip through the cracks and current systems of care are quick to discharge them with no place to call home. Our staff received Trauma Informed training and are dedicated to understanding our children, with love, acceptance, and patience.
